Sunday Night Football: Backup Cooper Rush threw for 325 yards and a pair of second-half touchdowns as the Cowboys defeated the Vikings, 20-16. Rush’s final scoring pass was a five-yarder to Amari Cooper with 51 seconds remaining. Rush was pressed into service when Dak Prescott was shelved just before game time with a strained right calf muscle.

Monday Night Football: The Kansas City Chiefs host the New York Giants…Coverage begins at 7:30 on WNAV.

RAVENS: Had a BYE. They’ll host the Vikings next Sunday afternoon with coverage beginning at 12:30 on WNAV.

The Washington Football Team: The Broncos ended a four-game skid by blocking two field goals on their way to a 17-10 win against Washington. Melvin Gordon III caught a touchdown pass and ran for the go-ahead score from 7 yards out with 4:31 remaining. He also fumbled with 21 seconds to go, giving Washington the ball at the Denver 24-yard line before Denver’s defense held. Tyler Heinicke passed for 270 yards and was intercepted twice in the loss.  Going into their BYE Week, Coach Ron Rivera plans a position by position review and assessment in hopes of finding a way to improve Washington’s fortunes over its final nine games.
