(Towson, MD) — A former Annapolis police officer has been sentenced for felony theft. A Baltimore County judge sentenced 37-year-old Gerrard Williams Jr. to two-years behind bars and 18-months probation, then suspended the sentence. Williams pleaded guilty last year to stealing big screen TVs, air conditioners, clothing, medicine, diapers, dog food and other items while moonlighting as a security guard at a Walmart. The judge ordered him to pay more than 36-hundred-dollars in restitution and he is banned from all Walmart stores as part of the sentence.
