(Smithsburg, MD) AP-WNAV — A new detail is coming to light following the deadly murder/suicide of a former Baltimore County Police officer, his accomplice, and his children.
Officials say Robert Vicosa’s former wife and the mother of the two daughters he kidnapped in Pennsylvania, says she received a court order of emergency protection against her ex-husband to prevent contact with his daughters.
However, she says it was blocked by a Pennsylvania police chief. In published reports, the ex-wife says that a police chief identified as Timothy Damon allegedly blocked the court order.
The ex-wife filed a citizen’s complaint against the York Area Regional Police Chief involved. Officials say Mr. Vicosa, another suspended police officer, and the girls were located in a vehicle that crashed in Western Maryland on Thursday, November 18.
All four had suffered gunshot wounds and died.
The protective order was dated November 14, 2021.
