Annapolis, MD — WNAV (10-16-2021) A twenty-three year old Baltimore Man was fatally shot in Annapolis Thursday. Annapolis police say the victim is Cornell Young who died at an area hospital from his wounds.  Police are asking anyone who had information about what the heard or saw at the alleged crime on Pleasant Street to call detectives at 410-260-3439. If Pleasant Street sounds familiar it’s because that’s where a stray bullet was fired from that killed the 54 year old mother of an incoming Naval Academy Midshipman in June of this year. Police did make an arrest in that case about a month after that tragic incident that marred celebrations of new USNA class able to come back to the yard after Covid19 health restrictions.
